Marilyn Frances Whitehead

Mrs. Marilyn Frances Whitehead, age 77, of Commerce passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2023 at The Oaks of Athens.  Mrs. Whitehead was born in Athens to the late, Clyde and Valley Gilmer.  Mrs. Whitehead was a retired LPN.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitehead was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Whitehead.

Mrs. Whitehead is survived by her son, Mitch Craig of Commerce; daughter, Rhonda Welch of Comer; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 12 noon, Saturday, June 17 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. John Evans officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11-12.
