Susan Diane Smith “Suzy Sue” “Smitty” Age 55, Passed away peacefully on Friday, June 9th ,2023. Born January 5th in Wilmington, DE. To the Late Harry W. Smith & Betty L. (Beach) Smith.
Moved to Gainesville, GA in 1978 and happily set down her roots. Suzy Sue was a talented folk artist and saw beauty in everything, Her art has been described as” inspirational, uplifting, joyful” as it was a work of her heart and creative talents.


Suzy Sue had a respect and love of all things & nature, The river was her special place and she would wantyou to go, see it, feel it, get in it, she never met a stranger and was loving and kind to all she met, SuzySue shared her love and light abundantly and we are blessed to have known and loved her.Suzy Sue is survived by her loving son, Tyler Jacob Smith, Jacksonville, FL, brother, Steven W. Smith-
Tiffany Self, Gainesville GA, sister Shelly L. Funk, Newark, DE, Aunts, uncles, cousins, her kitty cats, Butter and Birdie, and her loving friends and angels who she
considered to be family and she loved with all her heart.


A Joint family memorial service and celebration of life will be held in October 2023, to honor Suzy Sue Smith, Harry W. Smith & Betty L. Smith. At Echo Eternity Forest at Glisson, Dahlonega, GA, Date will be formally announced by family
