Mason Scott Palmour

Mason Scott Palmour, 17, of Dawsonville passed away Saturday, June 10, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Mason was born September 23, 2005 and lived most of his life in Dawson County.  He was an 11th grade student at Dawson County High School where he was a member of the football team, fishing team, and baseball team.  Mason enjoyed hunting, fishing, music and tacos.  He cared more about others than he did himself and was truly a light in this world.

Surviving are his mother, Alison Palmour, Cumming; father, Robert Palmour, Dawsonville; sisters, Anzleigh Padrick and Chris Hester, Ashlynn Padrick and Dorian Richards, Malina Palmour and Tyler Edmunds, all of Dawsonville; grandparents, David and Marilyn Wheeles, Brooket, Ga, Angela Eller, Bryson City, NC, Scott and Lynn Palmour, Covington, Cindy and Jim Rahm, New Hampstead, NC; great grandmother, Barbara “The Mee-Maw” Riales, Dawsonville; nephew, Brooks Padrick; and a number of other relatives.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 17, 2023 at 12 noon at Christ Fellowship Church.  Pastor Marty Darracott and Rev. Russell Davis will officiate.
