Nellie Elizabeth Brooks

Ms. Nellie Brooks, age 82, of Cleveland, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023.

Nellie was born in Tallahassee, FL to the late Frank A. and Annie Bell Dockery Brooks. In addition to parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Penny Lee; and Brothers, Furman Brooks, Albert Brooks, and Earl Brooks.

Nellie was an Ironworker for Ironworkers Local 387 in Atlanta.  She was an active member of the Cleveland Worship Center and Union Grove Congregational Holiness Campground.

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Andrea McGuire, Flowery Branch; son, Chris McGuire, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Shann and Erika McGuire, Carrollton; sister, Beulah Black, Cleveland; brothers, Kenneth Brooks, Cleveland, and brother, Wayne Brooks, Alto; grandchildren, Reed McGuire, Rachel McGuire, Kylie and Chandler Cochran, Eric Smith, Tera Smith, C.J. McGuire, Joe and Madison McGuire, Connor McGuire, Mark Daniels, Gage Sheldon, Max and Lexy McGuire, Maddie McGuire, Addison and Cody Smith, Emma Agan, and Lily Agan; great-grandchildren, Aundrea Brooks, Tate McGuire, Cara Smith, Ada Smith, Rylan Smith, and Dylan Smith; and many other relatives.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3 P.M. Monday, June 12, 2023 from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home.  Rev.
