Charles W. Billy Harper

Mr. Charles W. Billy Harper, age 68, of Dahlonega, GA passed away Monday, June 5, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W Harper, Sr. and his mother, Nellie Ruth Strickland.  Mr. Harper is survived by his wife of forty years, Barbara Wheeler Harper of Dahlonega, GA; daughter, Misty (Brian) Panetta of Winder, GA; grandchildren, Brian Panetta, Braiden Panetta, and Riley Panetta; sisters, Nancy (Rainie) Clark of Flowery Branch, GA, Linda Stewart of Lawrenceville, GA, and Joy (Russell) Starrett of Lavonia, GA; sister-in-law, Rhenia Braswell of Destin FL; brothers-in-law, Ricky (Amber) Holman of Buford, GA, Shon (Lisa) Wheeler of Buford GA; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Mr. Harper was born May 15, 1955 in Buford, GA.  He was a 1973 graduate of North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, GA.  Mr. Harper was retired as a Master Mechanic from Gwinnett County Fleet Management.  He loved panning for gold.  He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, Buford, GA.  A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, June 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
