Mrs. Thelma Faye Dozier Brown, 87, a most holy, reverent, dedicated and loving person, was welcomed by God in Heaven Saturday, June 3, 2023. Never was there a better Christian, a woman with a kind and beautiful heart, who gave selflessly to any and all.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 9, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bobby Griffin and Rev. Randy Brooks will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday, June 9th from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Born on October 20, 1935 in Grays Knob, KY, she was the daughter of the late Isiac Pierce Dozier and the late Mary Ethel Carr. She was retired from AT&T, where she worked in the accounting department. Mrs. Brown was a member of Free Chapel and an honorary member of New Haven Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel Eugene Brown; brothers, Bill Dozier, Richard Dozier and sister, Joy.
Mrs. Brown is survived by her daughter, Theresa Moses of Bonaire, GA; daughter and son in law, Tena and Michael Krouse of Richmond, VA; daughter and son in law, Tami and Charles Ford of Montclair, NJ; sister, Judy of IN; grandchildren, Duncan Ford, Evan Ford, Olivia Krouse, Alexander Krouse; great grandchildren, Silas Ford, Oscar Ford, Calvin Ford and a number of other loving relatives.
