Reginald "Reggie" Moore Cates

Reginald "Reggie" Moore Cates, age 70, of Oakwood passed away Monday May 15, 2023 at his residence.

Reggie was born February 26, 1953 in Waynesboro, Georgia to the late Juanita Moore Cates & James Cates, Sr. He was an Executive Vice President with Crane Transport in Oakwood. Reggie loved college football and he loved his Georgia Bulldogs! He also loved the Allman brothers music. He was preceded in death by his wife, Cheryl Cates; brothers, James Cates, Jr. & Johnny Cates.

Left to cherish precious memories, children, Reginald Eric Cates, Jessica Juanita Cates, Daniel Tyler(Angie) Cates; grandchildren, Angel Cates & Teagan Cates; brother, Phillip Cates & Chester Cates; a number of other relatives and all the random animals that his children would bring home.

Celebration of Life services will be held from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 27, 2023 at Crane Transport Company, 4125 W White Road, Oakwood, GA 30566.
