Jean Truelove

Jean Truelove, 90 of Gainesville passed away Friday May 19, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Rayle, Georgia, Mrs. Truelove had lived in Hall County for most of her life.  She was the daughter of the late L.E. and Pauline Boatwright Barnes. Mrs. Truelove had worked as a hairdresser since 1961 and was a graduate of The Terrell Beauty School.  She was a member of Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children; Sharon and Don Seabolt, Clermont, Buck and Peggy Truelove, Gainesville, Sam Truelove, Gainesville, grandchildren, Matt Truelove, Mark Seabolt  (Liz), Blake Truelove, Kyle Truelove, Joshua Truelove, 13 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren also survive.

Mrs. Truelove is preceded in death by her husband, Irvin Hoover Truelove.

Funeral services will be held Monday May 22, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church. Rev. Steve Baker will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Little & Davenport Funeral Home Sunday May 21 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
