Brently Travis Love

Brently Travis Love, age 23 months, of Maysville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Brently was born on May 27, 2021 in Clarke County, Georgia. Brently was the happiest and sweetest child. He brought joy to everyone who met him. He will be remembered as a fighter, defeating many odds that were against him. On Sunday, he received his new body and is no longer in pain.

He is survived by his loving mother, Elizabeth Love, of Maysville; great-grandmother, Sybil Phillips, of Maysville; grandparents, Bobby and Holly Davis, of Martin; great-uncle and aunt, Jason and Ginny Phillips, of Covington; uncles, Dow Davis, of Columbia, SC; Justin Davis, of Kings Point, GA; aunts, Allie Davis, of Columbia, SC; Lillian Parson and her spouse, Blake, of Cleveland, TN; special caretakers, Stephen and Karen Holloway, of Calhoun; special friends, Rose Camby and Abigail McFall; and many other family members.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, South Chapel with Pastor Tim Vaughn and Pastor Lorenzo Davis officiating.

Graveside Services will follow at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 20, 2023 at the Duncan Creek Congregational Church Cemetery, 3868 Braselton Highway, Buford, Georgia 30519.

Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Foundation, 1575 NE Expressway, Atlanta, Georgia 30329.
