LaDonna McClure Irvin, age 61, of Gillsville, entered heavens gates Saturday, May 13, 2023.

Born in Gainesville, Ga. on October 18, 1961, she was the daughter of Donald Andrew McClure and Laverne Griffin McClure. Ladonna was a retired secretary with the Hall County School System. She was of the Christian faith. LaDonna was a loving, wife, mother, and grandmother. She had many pastimes, cheering on her beloved Duke Blue Devils, and relaxing on the beach; but her favorite of all was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren; she was known to her grandchildren as "Nana". She also enjoyed crocheting hats, scarves, and lap blankets for Hospice patients. Ladonna was preceded in death by her father, Donald Andrew McClure.

Surviving are husband, Steve of Gillsville; son and daughter-in-law, Stacey and Leslie McClure of Lula: son and daughter-in-law, Jared and Haleigh McDougle of Lula: mother, Laverne Griffin McClure of Lula; brother, Todd McClure of Lula; grandchildren Aubrey McClure and Jase McDougle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives.

Funeral Service will be at 2pm Wednesday May 17,2023, at the Ward's Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chris Austin officiating. Interment will follow in the Emmanuel Community Church Cemetery (formerly known as Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery) with the Rev. Len Land officiating.
The Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 6-8 pm., Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at the funeral home.
