Juanita “Nita” Pylant, age 84, of Lawrenceville, GA passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023. She was preceded in death by parents, Noah Aron Pylant and Julia Massey Pylant, and brother, Neal Pylant. Ms. Pylant is survived by sister-in-law, Carole Zinz Pylant of Brunswick, GA; niece, Heather (Danny) Lee of Lawrenceville; nephew, Christopher O’Neal Pylant of Brunswick; great nephews, Alec Browning and Aaron Lee; and numerous cousins. Ms. Pylant was born on January 3, 1939 in Atlanta, GA and graduated from Tucker High School in 1957. She was retired from Southern Bell Telephone Company as Office Administrator after thirty years. She was a member of Pioneers Telephone, a member of Midway Baptist Church, and a member of Red Hat Society. Ms. Pylant enjoyed singing in the church choir and shopping. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Tucker, GA. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 19.
