Terry C. Hamilton

Terry C. Hamilton, age 65 of Demorest, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 09, 2023.

Born in Clarkesville, Georgia on May 10, 1957, he was a son of the late Buford Cordell & Carolyn Willene Stamey Hamilton. Terry was self-employed in the logging industry for over 35 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed trading cars as well as playing with his nieces and nephews. Terry loved his family tremendously and was a friend to many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Eddie Lee Hamilton; sisters, Patricia Nix & Darlene Weaver.

Survivors include his son, Matthew Hamilton of Franklin, NC; brother, Odell Hamilton of Demorest, GA; sisters, Doris Ritchie of Clarkesville, GA; Velma Franklin of Cornelia, GA; Cletta Fredericks of Danielsville, GA; Rita Bowers of Cornelia, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives, & friends.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Amy’s Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Trotter, Rev. Austin Kelley, & Rev. Eddie Tanner officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 12, 2023.
