William Phillip Rawlins

Mr. William Philip Rawlins, age 67 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 at his residence.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Life Way Church.  Pastor Bruce Rhodes and Pastor Sheila Rhodes will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Rawlins was born February 19, 1956 to the late Claude Holt & Beulah Singleton Rawlins in Tacoma, Washington at Madigan Army Hospital.

William was a brilliant mathematician and debater. He began his career as a computer engineer in the corporate world and transitioned into entrepreneurship in the later stage of his career. For many years as a traveling businessman, he lead many people to the Lord.  He had an electric personality and could relate to anyone. He was a loyal family man who worked extremely hard. His passion was painting, making repairs, learning new skills, and acquiring new knowledge. He was a deep thinker, and an intellectual. He was detail oriented and a moral paragon. He modeled honesty and integrity without wavering, he was a true role model and loved life, his family and the Lord.

He is survived by sons, Matt (Jessica) Rawlins, Ben Rawlins and Dan Rawlins; grandchildren, Landon Rawlins, Brynn Rawlins and Leyton Rawlins; brother & sister-in-law, George & Donna Rawlins; and sister, Holly Rawlins.
