Leannette Bishop Rawlins

Mrs. Leannette Bishop Rawlins, age 66, of Flowery Branch passed away Friday, May 5, 2023.

A Celebration of Life will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 12, 2023 at Life Way Church.  Pastor Bruce Rhodes and Pastor Sheila Rhodes will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service.

Mrs. Rawlins was born in Greenville, North Carolina to Ann Carawan Bishop and the late Lionel Bishop July 20, 1956.  A member of Lifeway Church in Dacula, she was a special education teacher for the Gwinnett County School System for 18 years.

Mrs. Rawlins had a master’s degree in education and loved working with troubled children. She was steady, reliable, organized and extremely structured. From these traits she was highly dependable and bridged the gap for her students and family. She loved to host and entertain with well thought out games that provided good memories and delicious food. Her steadfast resolve came from a center of prayer and unwavering faith. She was an intercessor to those in need and lived out her truths that provided comfort and healing. She provided unconditional support to her family throughout the years.

Mrs. Rawlins is survived by her sons, Matt (Jessica) Rawlins, Ben Rawlins and Dan Rawlins; grandchildren, Landon Rawlins, Brynn Rawlins and Leyton Rawlins; mother, Ann Bishop; and brother, Kurt (Kay) Bishop.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Garrett Bishop.
