Vickie Amorose passed away on May 8, 2023. She was from Albany, Georgia, where she met her husband, Tony Amorose They were married for 59 years. When people asked, what makes a successful marriage, the response was “it’s a flexible 40-60% agreement where no one is right all of the time and forgiveness is essential”. Vickie loved to travel. She and Tony traveled extensively to approximately 33 states, which included all the states in the Rocky Mountains, California, Alaska, New England, NYC, Mexico, Canada, Hawaii (5 times), 14 cruises, including numerous Caribbean cruises and the most memorable, a Mediterranean cruise. She loved to attend concerts, with her most memorable being Elvis, in which he handed her a scarf, which will be buried with her. Vickie was also an avid Atlanta Braves fan, always watching them on TV in later years. Vickie was a loving wife, friend, mother, and grandmother who dearly loved all of us. Her VERY BEST accomplishment was raising three children to become very successful adults who made excellent choices with those that they married and for her four grandchildren. Surviving is her brother, Ricky Burdette; husband, Tony Amorose; her children, Tony Amorose and wife, Amy; Michael Amorose and wife, Windy; and Michelle Amorose and husband, Chis; grandchildren, John Turner, Alex Amorose, Jake Turner and Marissa Amorose.
