Dean Clinton Warnock

Mr. Dean Clinton Warnock, 78, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2023 at the Oaks of Limestone following a brief illness.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church. Rev. John Batusic will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.

Born on January 27, 1945 in Benton Harbor, MI, he was the son of the late Leland Greer Warnock and the late Welcome Exerine Warnock. Mr. Warnock was a retired Insurance Professional. He was a member of Chestnut Mountain Presbyterian Church where he served as Chairman of the Deacon Board for 15 years and was an Elder for 4 years.

Mr. Warnock is survived by his wife, Lynne Warnock of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Deb and Chuck Eidson of Gainesville; son and daughter in law, Darrin and Mary Warnock of Charlotte, NC; son and daughter in law, Dan and Dorothy Warnock of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Bryant, Mackenzie, Sarah, Justin, Grace, Dean; great grandchildren, Scotlyn, Cora, Reid, Rowyn; sisters, Bonnie, Joanne; brother, Lee and a number of other loving relatives.
