Anthony Scott Wilbanks, age 49 of Commerce, GA passed away on Monday, May 1, 2023.
Born on May 24, 1973 in Stephens County, GA, Mr. Wilbanks was the son of Marvin and Edith Shirley Wilbanks. He was a public health training coordinator with GA Dept. of Public Health, was an Army veteran, raised at Hill Street Baptist Church, a member of Trinity Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by grandparents, Wilmer H. and Jewel Shirley, Sr., and R.L. and Francis Wilbanks.
Survivors include his wife of 24 years, Jill Shore Wilbanks; son, Matthew Wilbanks; daughter, Allison Wilbanks; brothers, Mike (Suzy) Wilbanks, Six Mile, SC, and Al (Felicia) Wilbanks, Lyles, TN.
A memorial service will be held 4 pm Friday, May 5, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robby Brown officiating. The family will receive friends 2 pm until the funeral hour Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to help with expenses.
