Mr. Carol Davie Stancil, age 70 of Toccoa passed away Friday, April 28, 2023 at his home.
A son of the late Lam David Stancil and Anne Jarrett Stancil, he was born in Stephens County, Georgia August 19, 1952. He lived all his life in Stephens County with his loving wife Gail Stancil, happily married to each other for 42 years until her death in January of 2020. He was very proud of his family and devoted his life loving and being a great husband and father. Carol owned and operated Carol Stancil Plumbing for over 40 years. He was well respected for his quality work, a great businessman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gail Stancil and by one brother, Bobby Lynn Stancil.
Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Dave and Ashley Stancil of Toccoa and Brad and Kay Stancil of Seneca South Carolina. He loved his grandchildren Clint Stancil and Luke Stancil (grandsons) and Zara McLaughlin (step granddaughter).
Funeral Services will be Thursday, May 4, 2023, 11 o’clock A.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis funeral home with The Reverend Dr. Wayne Edwards officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Cale Stancil, Kelly Stancil, Chris Vaughn, David Bell, Bill Jarrett and Danny Hayes.

Interment will follow in the cemetery of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Turnerville, Georgia
