Jack Edward Pierce

Jack Edward Pierce, 72, of Gainesville, went on to his Heavenly home with the Father, Son, & The Holy Spirit on April 27, 2023.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, 2023 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on February 3, 1951 in Gainesville, GA, he was the son of the late Jack Pierce and Virginia Lathem Pierce.  Mr. Pierce was retired from the City of Gainesville working in the Civil Service for 25 years. Mr. Pierce was also a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church and was an outstanding husband, wonderful father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Pierce is preceded in death by his sister, Jackie Cochran and brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Pierce.

Mr. Pierce is survived by his wife, Mary Lou Pierce of Gainesville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Misty & Todd Sheriff of Lula, GA; son and fiancé, Joseph “Jody” Pierce and Beck; sister and brother-in-law, Becky and Charlie Whitlock of White County, GA; grandchildren, Tony Cole Sheriff, Brelan Leanne Pierce and Caylee Brooke Pierce; great grand-child, Ava.  Host of other loving relatives also survive.
