Jennifer Sue Nation Vega

Jennifer Sue Nation Vega, age 52, of Clarkesville, Georgia went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2023.

Mrs. Vega was born on May 1, 1970 in Habersham County, Georgia to the late Denver Nation and the late Cheryl Alexander Hutchens.

Jennifer will be remembered as a loving mother, and grandmother. She never gave up on her children. In her spare time, Jennifer enjoyed homesteading and loved her chickens and her goats.

Survivors include her loving husband, Jose Vega, of Clarkesville; son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Kimberly Moore, of Athens; daughter, LaTosha Moore, of Clarkesville; son, Brady Nation, of Clarkesville; sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Douglas Holbrooks, of Baldwin; grandmother, Annie Nation, of Hiawasee; step-father, Charles Hutchens, of Clarkesville; sister, Donna Nations, of Cleveland; brother and sister-in-law, William and Tracey Nation, of Mt. Airy; grandchildren, Joselynn Moore, Benjamin Moore, Jackson Moore, Elizabeth Foster, Sebastian Foster, Adeline Foster and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the Whitfield Funeral Home, North Chapel with. Rev. William Nation officiating. Interment will follow in the Yonah Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Sunday, April 30, 2023 at the funeral home prior to the service.
