Nancy Price Shackelford

Nancy Price Shackelford, age 79, of Auburn, GA passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-four years, Oscar Shackelford.  Mrs. Shackelford is survived by her daughter, Victoria (Manny) Rivera of Auburn; grandchildren, Calysta Rivera of Miami, FL, Zayne Rivera of Auburn, Zion Rivera of Auburn, Zealynd Rivera of Auburn; and brother-in-law Douglas (Phyllis) Shackelford.  Mrs. Shackelford was born on August 6, 1943 in Miami, FL.  She was a 1961 graduate from Hialeah High School in Hialeah, FL, a 1981 graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s Degree, and a 1987 graduate from Florida Atlantic University with a Master’s Degree in Education.  Mrs. Shackelford was retired from Hendry County Public School System after forty years.  Nancy was a member of Discover Life Church in Lawrenceville, GA., and she was a baker.  A Celebration of Life Service with Pastor Manny Rivera officiating will be held on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at Discover Life Church on 1625 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville, GA 30043.
