Evans Funeral Home announces the death of Ms. Marian Kathleen Aderhold Jackson, 63, of Asheville, North Carolina, who passed away at her home on Wednesday, April 19th, 2023. Mrs. Jackson was born in Atlanta, Georgia, and was a daughter to the late Jones and Marian Aderhold. "Miss J" is dearly loved and will be deeply missed by her Asheville sisters and friends that she has closely embraced over the years. Marian was a Woodward Academy alumni, attended Georgia Southern and graduated from Elon College. She was a retired Elementary School Teacher with Johnston Elementary School in Asheville, NC. Marian believed her greatest love and accomplishment on earth were her children, Andie Caroline and Hunter. Marian was a devoted mother and the best friend anyone could have. She had a fun loving attitude and always enjoyed a laugh. Marian consistently had a smile on her face and cared for others no matter their circumstances. She was truly a blessing to all of our lives and will be missed by all who knew her.
Ms. Jackson is survived by her children Andie Jackson of Asheville NC, Hunter Jackson, and his loving wife Devon Jackson of Cary, North Carolina; her brothers, Andy Aderhold and Steve Aderhold also survive.
The Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 11:00 am in the Woodbine Cemetery in Jefferson, Georgia with Reverend Eric Shelton officiating.
