Ricky Marr

Ricky Marr, age 64, of Dacula, GA passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Marr; brother, Phillip Wesley Marr; grandparents, Rev. Walter and Ollie Marr, Branson and Colena Wood Sloan. Mr. Marr is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Mao Tith of Dacula; mother, Marie Sloan Marr of Dacula; sister, Renee Marr (Chris) Montgomery of Dacula; uncle, Terrell (Diane) Sloan of Hoschton, GA; aunts, Louise (John) Gibson of Lincolnton, GA, Faye Jones of Athens, GA, Pam Sloan; stepchildren, Sarom and Sam Chum, Sarun Chum; and numerous first cousins and other relatives. Mr. Marr was born on February 11, 1959 in Winder, GA.  He graduated from Winder Barrow High School, and was retired from Dolco Packing Company after thirty-two years as a machine operator.  He was a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Auburn, GA.  Ricky enjoyed fishing and racing cars. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church on Mt. Moriah Church Road, Auburn GA with Rev. Sammy Everett officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 12:00 noon until 2:00 p.m.
