Celebration of Israel Namir Dupree
April 5, 2013 - April 10, 2023 (2 Timothy 4:7-8) I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have to keep the faith.
The lord called Israel home on April 10, 2023. He was born to Nicole Swain and Bonus Dad Tony Butler on April 5, 2013, in Gainesville, Georgia. Israel is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Teresa Dupree-Hunter. Israel was a 4th grader at Centennial Arts Academy. Before being diagnosed with his illness, Israel loved to play outside and loved nature. Once he found it to be a challenge to enjoy outside and nature, he began to play video games and games on his phone. Israel met no strangers, and he was well liked by everyone.
Israel celebration of life will be remembered by his mother, Nicole Swain and father, Tony Butler, brothers, Joshua Pittman, Jordan Pittman, Elijah Dupree, Corey Dupree,II, Zaire Dupree, Nasir Dupree and Joshua Gaither of Texas, grandparents, Janet and Charles Keller, Gillsville, four aunts, Renee Swain, Danielle Swain, Deborah Swain, Latoya Maxey, and special friends, Liz Moore, Leslie Frierson, Laney Brewer, all of Gainesville and a host of friends and family.
Israel's celebration of life service will be held Saturday April 22, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home. Pastor Bill Long will officiate. Interment will follow the service in the Alta Vista Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday April 21, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
