Jane Carlton Pollock

Jane Carlton Pollock, 76, of Buford, GA. passed away Friday, April 14, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis Carlton and Sadie Bannister Carlton; brother, Rev. Leon Carlton.  Mrs. Pollock is survived by her husband of 57 years, Earl Pollock of Buford, GA.; daughters, Tammy (Peter) Piccoli of Melbourne, FL., and Jennifer (Lamar) Johnson of Jefferson, GA.; grandchildren, Trey Piccoli, Cheyenne Johnson, Dalton Johnson; sister, Gail (Dennis) Noman of Pelham, GA.; brother-in-law, Thomas (Brenda) Pollock of Albany, GA.; sister-in-law, Geneva Carlton of Forsyth, GA.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Mrs. Pollock was born September, 19, 1946 in Thomasville, GA.  She was a 1964 graduate of Pelham High School.  Mrs. Pollock was a retired church secretary from McKendree United Methodist Church, after eighteen years of service.  She was a very active member of Ivy Creek Baptist Church where she was involved in Women’s Ministry, Awanas, Senior Adult Ministry, and First Impressions greeter.  She was a former member of Shadowbrook Baptist Church for twenty-five years.  She Enjoyed gardening, flowers, and entertaining.  She loved her grandchildren and family.  

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Ivy Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Craig Dale, and Rev. Ted Williams officiating. Mrs. Pollock will Lie in State at the Church from 1:00 p.m. until the service time. Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home in Buford, GA.
