James Franklin Daniel, age 87 of Athens, GA passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.
Born on Feb. 15, 1936 in OCONEE County, GA, Mr. Daniel was the son of the late Jessie and Mattie Daniel. He was a retired truck driver with Edmond Porterfield, was an Army veteran in the Korean War, and was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Daniel; and a daughter, Paula Daniel.
Survivors include his spouse, Puring Lucas Daniel; sons, Tony Daniel, Russell Daniel, Craig Daniel; daughters, Christine Daniel and Kim Daniel.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm Saturday, April 22, 2023 at Ivie Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends 11 am until the memorial service hour Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the funeral home.
