Mrs. Daphene Diffie Rollins, age 92 of Toccoa passed away Friday, April 7, 2023 at the Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital.
A daughter of the late Carl and Alta Smith Diffie, she was born August 27, 1930 in Ohatchee, Alabama having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was the owner and operator of Rollins Gifts and Books for 40 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church, the Journey Sunday School Class and the Book Club. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, George Rollins, Jr. in 2017 and by a son, Ken Rollins.
Survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, George E. Rollins, III (Annette) of Greensboro, North Carolina and Mark Rollins (Amy) of McDonough, Georgia; grandchildren, Kenan Rollins, Heather Edwards, Caitlin Storey and Savannah Rollins; great-grandchildren, Blake Edwards and Caleb Edwards.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, 11 o’clock a.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Ritcey and The Reverent Brett Sanders officiating. Family members will serve as pallbearers, George Rollins, III, Mark Rollins, Kenan Rollins, Josh Edwards, Blake Edwards and Caleb Edwards.

Entombment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Mausoleum with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Daphene Diffie Rollins.
