Jon Howard Irving

Mr. Jon Howard Irving, age 68, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Friday, April 7, 2023, peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside services will be held 6:30 pm Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Memorial Park Cemetery, 2030 Memorial Park Road Gainesville, Georgia 30504.

Jon was born September 13, 1954, in Arlington, Virginia. He is the son of the late Wallace Earl Irving and Marion (Foreman) Irving. He was also preceded in death by his son James Steven Irving.

He was the owner and operator of Phoenix Tool and Die Company. He was a long time Boy Scout Leader with Troop 3. Youth Pastor Jamie Smith from Ebenezer Baptist Church of Toccoa, will officiate.

Jon is survived by his loving wife, Brenda (Dorminy) Irving; son, Jon Howard Irving, II; daughter, Jessyca Rochelle Irving; grandchildren, Bella Rochelle Irving, Jon H. Irving, III, Elizabeth Grace Cross, and Lillian Nicole Cross.

Flowers will be accepted, preferably daffodils or mums.
