Mr. Matthew Michael Gragg, age 36 of Toccoa passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 in Jackson, Georgia.
A son of Michael Gragg and Brenda Fulghum Gragg, he was born September 18, 1986 in Augusta, Georgia having lived all his life in Stephens County, Georgia. He was employed with Panel Truss Company in Townville, South Carolina. He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved to hunt and fish, was an excellent writer of short stories and loved to sing. He attended Liberty Baptist Church in Lula, Georgia.
He is survived by his parents, Michael Gragg of Toccoa and Brenda Fulghum Gragg of Eastanollee; his wife, Larissa Gragg of Gainesville; daughter, Hailey Gragg of Eastanollee; son, Matthew Pless of Toccoa; brothers, Russell (Scotti) Brock of Toccoa and Kevin (Patti) Brock of Cornelia; sisters, Karen (Freddie) Fruster, Stephanie (Todd) Wilbanks, Jennifer Brock, Amanda Murray and Miranda Gragg all of Toccoa; step-daughters, Azlynn Ballenger of Eastanollee and Kaitlyn Traxler of Ila; step-sons, Nicholas (Allison) Ludwig of Toccoa and Blaine Little of Ila; brothers-in-law, Micah (Crystal) Ludwig of Clarkesville, Ray (Paige) Ludwig of Lula, Jason Evers of The Rock, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Misty (Eric) Walst of The Netherlands; eight step-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, April 8, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Stewart and Chaplain Nathan Dodd officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joey Adams, Matthew Pless, Terrance Arthur, Nicholas Ludwig, Henry Harris, Coleman Payne, Jeffery Kirkland and Jonathan Sudduth.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Friday, 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.
Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mr. Matthew Michael Gragg.
