Phillip “Phil” Morris Grafton

Mr. Phillip “Phil” Morris Grafton, age 75 of Fighting Pine Road, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

A son of the late Joe P. Grafton, Sr. and Jewell Ivester Grafton, he was born March 8, 1948 in Stephens County, Georgia where he lived all his life.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.  He was retired from Grafton Lumber Company as a Sales Representative with many years of service.  He was a member of Rock Creek Baptist Church and the Senior Adult Men’s Sunday School Class.  He loved being outdoors, especially tending to his garden.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother and was a friend to so many. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Frances Capes, Mary Crunkleton, J.P. Grafton, Jr. and Hal Grafton.

Survivors include his loving wife of the home, Lynn Pacetti Grafton; daughters and sons-in-law, Heather Warnock and Mary Ann Hill both of Toccoa, Brooke and John Lowden of Homer, Georgia and Kelly and Rick Seymour of Auburn, Alabama; two sons, Aaron Warnock and Benjamin Warnock both of Toccoa; brothers and sisters-in-law, Aubrey and Laura Grafton, Roger and Donna Grafton and Wayne and Karel Grafton all of Toccoa; sisters and brother-in-law, Elizabeth Jarrett of Toccoa and Linda and Michael Whitfield of Knoxville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Ashley Hill, Leslie Voyles and Kimberley Hill, all of Toccoa,  Robert, Madison and Sydney Lowden of Atlanta Georgia and Elizabeth and Aidan Symore of Auburn, Alabama;  great-grandchildren,  Jackson and Josephine Voyles and Scarlett Scott and Elizabeth Williamson.

Funeral services will be Friday, April 7, 2023, 2 o’clock p.m. at the Rock Creek Baptist Church with The Reverend Ken Jackson and The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Tyler Voyles, Dylan Scott, Scott Jarrett, Keith Grafton, John Lowden and Jason Grafton.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and on Friday from noon until 1:25 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Flowers are optional.  Memorials may be made to Rock Creek Baptist Church, 3729 Rock Creek Road, Toccoa, Georgia 30577 in memory of Mr. Phillip “Phil” Morris Grafton.

Interment will follow in the Rock Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Military Honors by the U.S. Army Honor Guard and the V.F.W. Post 4346 Honor Guard.
