Nelda M. Hase

Mrs. Nelda M. Hase, 100, of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at Manor Lake Assisted Living and Memory Care of Gainesville.

A Graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 7, 2023 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Cortney Whiting will officiate. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Friday from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Born on March 5, 1923 in Concordia, KS, she was the daughter of the late Ben and Alberta Barlett Blackburn. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hase was preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Hase; daughter, Linda Handran Page, brothers, Alden Blackburn, Russell Blackburn and sister, Laura Bowman.

Mrs. Hase is survived by her son and daughter in law, Keith and Kay Deaton Handran of Gainesville; grandchildren, Doug Handran, Brenda Handran, Scot Page; great grandchildren, Kenny Page, Melinda Page; great-great grandchild, Adrian McDaniel and a number of nieces and nephews.
