Jayne Roebuck Stanley, 64, of Buford, GA passed away Sunday, April 2, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.W. and Nell Smith Roebuck. Mrs. Stanley is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, James B. Stanley of Buford; daughter, Emma Jayne Stanley; sisters, Patricia (Lamar) Nash of Atlanta, Carol Roebuck Martin of Mt. Airy, GA, and Sharon Roebuck (Wayne Wright) of Greenville, SC; and brothers-in-law, Joe (Nancy) Stanley of Tybee Island, GA, and Jerry Stanley of Franklin, NC. Several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. Mrs. Stanley was born February 3, 1959 in Buford, GA and was a 1977 graduate of Buford High School. She was a retired Pre-K teacher from Sugar Hill Great Beginnings and a member of First Baptist Church of Buford. She enjoyed reading, teaching, and enjoyed watching Downtown Abbey on TV. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Broadlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Buford with Wayne Wright officiating. The family will receive friends at Flanigan Funeral Home from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday, April 7, 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Flanigan Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses in memory of Jayne Roebuck Stanley.
