Rebecca "Becky" Ann Martin

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Martin was a caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on March 30, 2023 at the age of 80.

She was born to the late Hansel and Kathryn Wallace on July 18, 1942. She grew up in the Chicopee Village and was a long time resident of the town of Candler in Gainesville. She worked for Chicopee, a division of Johnson & Johnson for 37 years.

Her family included son, James Grier & wife, Marie Grier; daughter, Kathy Martin; son, Chris Martin & husband Eddie McClain; brother, Jimmy Wallace & wife, Jackie Wallace; sister to the late Janet Wallace, grandson, Justin Grier, granddaughter, Kaitlin Brannon & husband, Jeremy Brannon; great-granddaughter, Danika Passmore and aunt to several nieces and nephews.

Becky had a loving and giving heart and loved spending time with her family and a multitude of family and friends. Her faith in God was strong, she was a Christian and showed unconditional love and acceptance to all.

Becky loved gardening, planting beautiful flowers and cooking for her family. She was known in her community for her love of making and sharing her Christmas cookies. Her bright blue eyes and genuine smile will be missed.

The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 31, 2023 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Memorial Park South, 4121 Falcon Parkway, Flowery Branch, Georgia 30542. A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 am on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at the Memorial Park South Chapel with Pastor Chris Hermansen officiating. Graveside service will be privately held with her family. Becky will be laid to rest at Oakwood Cemetery, along-side her parents and beloved sister.
