Rebecca S. Millard, 72, of Gainesville, died on March 20, 2023.
Becky was born in Van Nuys, California and moved to Atlanta in 1963. She experienced a wonderful Catholic education, attending St. Jude the Apostle Catholic School and St. Pius X Catholic High School. After graduating from St. Pius, she attended St. Joseph’s Infirmary School of Nursing. Following graduation, she worked as a surgical nurse at the Atlanta Eye Hospital. A loving mother, Becky sacrificed daily to raise four boys, putting them through Catholic schools in Atlanta. As her sons grew up, Becky renewed her love of water sports, which included water skiing, swimming, and especially rowing. They began as exercise and became her passion. Becky was a long-time member of the Lake Lanier Rowing Club Racing Team. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Carl P. Setili and Florence D. Setili, and by her sister Susan Setili.
Becky is survived by her husband of 52 years, Robin J.
