Isabell Reeves Wilson

Isabell Reeves Wilson, 93, of Cumming passed away Sunday, March 26, 2023 at Northside Forsyth Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 28, 1929, Isabell was raised in Dawson County.  She had been a resident of Cumming for the past 22 years after living most of her life in Gainesville.  Isabell was of Christian faith and a member of Free Chapel in Gainesville.  For many years she worked in the poultry industry and retired from Select Laboratory in Gainesville.  Isabell was a loving mother who devoted her entire life to her family.  She loved them all so very much and will be missed dearly. 

Isabell was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Essie Reeves; children, Rita Stephens, Gary Wilson, Ronnie Wilson, Donny Wilson; sisters, Idabell Reeves, Louise Barron, Ruby Jean Ray; brothers, Raymond Reeves, Edward Reeves, Paul Reeves, Richard Reeves, James Reeves.

Surviving are her daughters and son-in-law, Ann Howell, Tina and Steve Sullens, all of Cumming; grandchildren, Lori, Jeff, Jason, Kelly, Faith, Steven; great-grandchildren, Dillon, Hannah, Eli, Charlie, Ryleigh; great-great-grandson, John; sisters and brothers-in-law, Maggie Kent, Betty and Jan Cooley, all of Gainesville; sisters-in-law, Betty Reeves of Gainesville, Edna Reeves of Dawsonville; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Bearden Funeral Home.  Rev. Mike Owens will officiate.  Interment will follow at Restoration Worship Center Cemetery in Murrayville. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 29, 2023 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.
