Mr. Timothy “Tim” Irving Edge, age 62 of Clarkesville and formerly of Stephens County passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at the Habersham County Medical Center.
A son of James Arnold Edge, Sr. and the late Barbara Hendricks Edge, he was born December 26, 1960 in Stephens County, where he lived most of his life before moving to Clarkesville, Georgia. He was employed in his father’s business, Jim Edge Garage Doors for many years. He loved his family, loved to talk and never met a stranger and had a heart for people in need. He loved music, amateur radio, muscle cars, animals, electronics and movies. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Connie Wilbanks, brother, Ernie Edge and by a step-brother, William Madrie.
Survivors include his father, James Arnold Edge, Sr.; wife of the home, Patricia Ellard Edge; son and daughter-in-law, Cameron and Sara Edge of Toccoa; two daughters and son-in-law, Desi and Andrew Chatham and Tirah Edge both of Toccoa; four grandchildren, Bayliss and Emerson Edge and Cassius and Navia Neal; sisters, Deborah Edge Reed, Renea DeRossett and Sheryl Snider; mother-in-law, Gladys Phillips; aunt, Ruth Gibby of Toccoa; a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
