Curtiss Dewayne Turpin

Mr. Curtiss Dewayne Turpin, 55, of Martin, GA passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at St. Mary’s Hospital in Athens, GA.

The family will receive friends Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on June 29, 1967 in Gainesville, he was the son of Mary Ann Stow Turpin and the late Eugene Turpin.

In addition to his father, Mr. Turpin was preceded in death by his brothers, Danny Ray Turpin and step daughter, Hannah Welch Carroll.

Mr. Turpin is survived by his wife, Lolita “Dodie” Turpin of Martin, GA; daughters, Rachael Strickland of Martin, GA, Desiree Strickland of Kennesaw, GA, Ashley Jones of Talmo, GA, Brittany Turpin of Cleveland, TN, Courtney Turpin of OK, Maryshea DeLay of Chatsworth, GA; son, John Curtiss Eugene Turpin of Chatsworth; mother, Mary Ann Turpin of Dahlonega; grandchildren, Ryleigh Goodson, Bailey Jones, Everest DeLay, Scarlett DeLay, Layne Carson Waddell; sister, Patty Turpin of Dahlonega; brother, Ricky Turpin of Dahlonega and a number of other loving relatives.
