Brian K. Sorrells

Brian K. Sorrells, 52, of Dawsonville passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Brian was born October 22, 1970.  A native of Roswell, he had lived in Dawson County for the past 6 years.  For many years he was a dump truck driver.  He enjoyed wrestling, tinkering, exploring with his family and he enjoyed helping others.  Preceding him in death was his dad, Wayne Carruth.

Surviving are his wife, Alicia Sorrells, Dawsonville; children, Ansley Priddy, Dawsonville, Kyle Sorrells, West Virginia; granddaughter, Ruthie Jane Sorrells; mother and stepfather, Janice and Walter Blalock, Dawsonville; mother in law, Carol Trusty, Woodstock; sister and brother in law, Stacy and Joey Howard, Canton; aunts and uncles, Sandra and Thomas McClain, Penny and Troy Thacker, Diane Cook; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Dusty Elmore will officiate.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22 from 12 noon until 2.
