Samuel G. Billingsley

Samuel G. Billingsley, age 57, of Toccoa, Georgia, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023.

Mr. Billingsley was born on August 29, 1965, in Petersburg, Virginia, to Brenda Downing, and the late Jack G. Billingsley. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by son, Kyle G. Billingsley and stepfather, Philip Downing.

Until he became disabled, Mr. Billingsley was employed with Winesett Hill Constructors. The most important thing to Sam was family. He is from a large family that is very important to him.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Johnson; mother, Brenda Downing; daughters: Shannon "Sissy" Billingsley, Brenda Elaine "Le" Billingsley, and Samantha Georgia "Sammy" Billingsley; step-son, John "Junior" Johnson; sister, Cassandra Dyan Szabo (Lewis); brothers: David L. Billingsley (Kimberly), Ira Scott Billingsley (Julie), and Daniel L. Billingsley (Raquel); stepbrother, Phillip Downing and step sister, Nikki Leach; grandchildren: Damian Hall, Sophia Hall, and Marshall Hall; also, a multitude of loving cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, and nieces.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Odom Springs Winery, 637 Odom Road, Blairsville, Georgia 30512,
