Uwe Heinz Lindner

Mr. Uwe Heinz Lindner, age 76, of Buford, GA passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2023. He is survived by his wife of forty years, Helen Sibal Lindner of Buford; children, Nicole Lindner, Eric and Kimberly Sven-Lindner, Thomas Jason “T. J.” Lindner, Heather Lindner Summers; four grandchildren, Eric Jake Lindner, Dylan Jack Lindner, Christopher Jason Linder, Kylie Marie Summers; and numerous other relatives and friends. Mr. Lindner was born on October 14, 1946 in Hamburg, Germany. He served in the Air Force in Oldenburg, Germany as well as in the Police Reserve in Hillsdale, New Jersey before moving the Buford in 1987. After working for eight years as operations manager for King Kong Tools in Buford, he then retired.  Mr. Lindner enjoyed boating on Lake Lanier, and he was a member of Buford First United Methodist Church. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Buckman officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 17 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Stroke Association.
