Rebecca Lou Bryson Dalrymple, age 91, of Toccoa, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
A daughter of the late Edward Hayes Bryson and Dora Elizabeth Watts Bryson, she was born on February 23, 1932 in Dillard, Georgia having lived most of her life in Stephens County, Georgia. Lou and her late husband, Mac were real estate brokers and owned and operated Dalrymple Realty. Lou was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Toccoa, Georgia. Lou was loved by so many and was the embodiment of southern charm. Lou’s circle of friends grew over the years through Facebook, and they enjoyed her humor, wit, poetic posts and her sincere interest in their daily lives.
Lou’s greatest love was her family which includes two sons and daughter-in-law, Steve Collier of Toccoa, Georgia and Chuck and Angie Dalrymple of High River, Alberta Canada, and a daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Dennis Brittain of Athens, Georgia. Three granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Rebecca Brittain and boyfriend Tim Frey, Taylor and Sean Boudreaux, and Stephanie and Dylan Simpson, and a great granddaughter, Stevie Quinn Simpson, two sisters and brother-in-law, Jo Camp and Bette and Bill Myers, brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Trigg and Edith Dalrymple, and 23 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers and will assemble at the funeral home by 2:15 on Sunday; Craig Beatty, Sean Boudreaux, David Cheek, Bryan Kesler, Dylan Simpson, and Jerry Snell.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Toccoa City Cemetery with Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Rebecca Lou Bryson Dalrymple.
