Mrs. Betty Wood Bolton, age 93, of Commerce, GA died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Bolton was born in Commerce to the late Elmer G. and Willie Catherine McGinnis Wood. She was a member of Berea Baptist Church and was retired from United 5 & 10. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bolton was preceded in death by her husband, John Pat Bolton.
Mrs. Bolton is survived by her daughter, Iris Wheeler of Nicholson; sons, Gary Bolton of Baldwin and Ricky Bolton of Baldwin; sister, Rachel Hawks of Commerce; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 3 PM, Sunday, March 12 graveside at Grey Hill Cemetery with Rev. Don Blalock officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 4 to 7 PM.
