Kayla Bagley, age 31, of Suches, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023. She was born on November 22, 1991, to Barry Bagley and Robin Tritt Bagley.
Kayla was a beautiful girl with a beautiful soul. She had many hobbies and many talents. Growing up in Suches, she developed a love for the outdoors at an early age. Although she had a soft spot in her heart for animals, she loved to hunt and fish. She had a deep respect and understanding of every animal that she ever harvested.
For some time, Kayla lived in Florida. While in Florida, she spent a lot of time scallop diving. In her younger years, she was always very competitive. She was a great basketball and tennis player and played for Woody Gap School. Even after becoming ill, she never lost her competitive edge. She used her time in bed recovering to whoop up on anyone who would play with her on video games.
She was a professional makeup artist and enjoyed using her creativity to make people's dreams come true. She also enjoyed playing the guitar and the mandolin and was very good at playing along to bluegrass gospel.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Paul and Rosa Tritt; paternal grandparents Clinton and Sylvia Bagley; and aunt Kristie Patterson.
In addition to her parents, Kayla is survived by her fiancé and his daughter, Chip Gruszczinski and Ava Gruszczinski; sister Crystal Bagley (Codi Lathem); uncle David Patterson; and cousin Taylor Howard. Numerous friends and other relatives also survive.
