Mr. Cleburn Ned Hulsey 76 of Murrayville, Georgia passed away on February 28th, 2023, following an extended illness with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 4th, 2023, in the chapel of Little Davenport Funeral Home. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, March 3rd, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Lyman Caldwell and Rev. Rex Fuller will officiate. Interment will follow at Cool Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with military honors.
Born June 27th, 1946 in Gainesville, Georgia, Cleburn was the son of the late Ned and Margaret Hulsey. He was a veteran of the Korean War. Cleburn was a retired iron worker and welder.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his beloved sister and brother-in-law, Azalee and Joe Cantrell, his infant brother Donny, and nephew Johnny Stevens.
Cleburn is survived by his son and daughter in law, Kevin Ned and Rachel Hulsey, grandchildren India and Ethan Hulsey of Murrayville, Georgia. Sister and brother-in-law Geneva and Mitchel Steven of Murrayville, Georgia. Brother, Tommy Hulsey of Gainesville, Georgia. Also, his former wife and mother of his only son Susan Hulsey of Dahlonega, Georgia.
And a number of nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family would like to honor a longtime family friend, Georgia McDonald of Murrayville, Georgia, for her friendship and dedication, the family would also like to thank the staff of Bell-Minor Nursing Home for the special care and support over the last 4 years.
