Jessica "Jessie" Jones

Jessica “Jessie” Jones, age 30, of Buford, GA passed away on Saturday, February 25, 2023.  She is preceded in death by her mother, Melissa Mauldin Jones; son Russell Ashworth, Jr. She is survived by her husband of 14 years, Russell Ashworth, Sr., Buford, GA; children, Gracie Ashworth, Buford, GA, Aiden Ashworth, Buford, GA; father, Darron Jones, Buford, GA; sister, Christy Cerny; nieces, Elyssa Rodriguez, Taylynn Cerny; mother-in-law, Candy and Hector Pineda.  Mrs. Jones was born on June 1, 1991 in Decatur, GA.  She was a 2009 graduate of Faith Academy in Buford, GA.  She was a homemaker and a member of Countryside Village Baptist Church.  A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Billy Johnson officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA.  The family will receive friends from 4:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 and from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 prior to the Service at Flanigan Funeral Home.
