Samuel B. Carter, 76, of Lilburn, GA, died Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Funeral service will be held Sunday, February 26, 2023 at 2 PM at Hamilton Mill Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Hamilton Mill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 12 PM – 2 PM at the funeral home. Samuel was preceded in death by his daughter, Heather Baltimore. He is survived by his wife, Anita Carter of Lilburn; daughter, Christa Watson of Cumming; son-in-law, Trevor Baltimore of Sugar Hill; grandchildren, Eva Watson, Carter Henderson, Logan Watson, Zoey Watson, Xavier Baltimore; brother, James B. Carter (Donna) of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Deborah Jones of MS. Samuel was born in Nashville, TN and moved to the metro Atlanta area in 1972. He worked for Greyhound Bus, and then as an upholstery craftsman for Macy’s. Samuel was a member of Mountain Park First Baptist Church and enjoyed martial arts and working out.
