Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Sheryl Frady Megar, age 64 of Jefferson, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, February 22, 2023. Mrs. Megar was born in Canton, Georgia a daughter of the late Ruben Donald Frady and Betty Joe Thomas Frady of Jefferson. Mrs. Megar obtained a AS Degree in Nursing and was a retired Registered Nurse from Gwinnett Medical Center.
Survivors in addition to her mother are her husband John Michael “Mike” Megar of Jefferson. Three daughters, Lauren Montgomery (Tommy) of Atlanta, Michelle Millwood of Winder, Katie Megar (Elizabeth) of Atlanta. Three sisters, Sheila Hadden (Brad) of Huntsville, Alabama, Sharon Cashin of Watkinsville, and Sondra Lake (Brian) of Monroe. Three grandchildren, Kaylin Montgomery, Owen Millwood, and Julien Shaw-Megar. Sister in Law, Diana Mosteller, of Franklin, Tennessee.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
