Mary Ivester Whitlock

Mrs. Mary Ivester Whitlock, age 80, of Commerce, GA died Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at her residence.  Mrs. Whitlock was born in Danielsville to the late Lemmie and Eppsie Cheek Ivester.  She was retired from Harmony Grove Mill.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitlock was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy C. Whitlock; sisters, Bertie Gordon and Edith Morrison; and brothers, Junior Ivester, Dennis Ivester and Richard Ivester.

Mrs. Whitlock is survived by her daughter, Brenda Whitlock of Fayetteville; sister, Betty McLendon of Commerce; nieces, Wanda Patrick, Carey Hicks, Kathy Sears and Elaine Marsh; and nephews Ronnie McLendon and Waymon Ivester.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, February 24 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Vaughn Howington, Jr. officiating.  Interment will follow in Jackson Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 1 to 2 PM.
