Richard “Dick” Allen Rivers

Mr. Richard “Dick” Allen Rivers, age 73 of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at his residence.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Memorial Park South Cemetery with interment following. Pastor Dwayne Wellborn will officiate. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M.

Mr. Rivers was born February 25, 1949 to John & Joyce Rivers in Minnesota. He was a member of Free Chapel – Gainesville and a retired mechanic.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Kari; son and daughter-in-law, Allen “AJ” & Kayla Rivers; son & daughter-in-law, Thamion “Sam” & Sara Rivers; brother & sister-in-law, Mike & Mary Rivers; sister & brother-in-law, Colleen & Gunner Manos; and 6 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father & step-mother, John & June Rivers; step-father, Gene Kari; sister, Linda Nugent; and daughters, Trina Marconie & Nannette Trettin.
