Mark D. Baker

Mark D. Baker, age 57, of Auburn, GA passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Ann Rampey Baker. Mr. Baker is survived by his father, Jerry C. Baker (Gisela) of Selmer, TN; children, Ashley and Clayton Knox of Buford, GA, Alexandria and Ryan Fowler of Jefferson, GA, Grace Baker of Auburn, GA, Mark Duane Baker, II of Auburn, GA, John Denny of Buford; grandchild, Bray Fowler; brother, Jerry Chadwick Baker, II and wife Charity of Covington, GA; sisters, Martha Rankin (Jason) of Selmer, TN and Catherine Bradley of Knox, IN; step-grandchildren, Katelyn, Madeline, and Ashlyn; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Baker was born on August 18, 1965 in Wise, VA. He was a 1983 graduate of Southview High School in Hope Mills, NC and he attended Pembroke University. Mr. Baker was employed with Med Cure Health as an I T Director. He enjoyed playing the guitar and watching movies.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Pastor Denatras Silas officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at the funeral home.
